Plans, trial, and billing
Briefly+ is an auto-renewing subscription with a monthly and a yearly plan, sold through the App Store on iPhone and iPad and through Google Play on Android. The store shows the price in your currency before you subscribe.
New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. Apple or Google decides whether your account qualifies, and the store shows the trial before you confirm if it does. On the App Store, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or a billing period ends, the subscription renews and your Apple ID is charged. On Google Play, unless you cancel before the trial or a billing period ends, the subscription renews and your Google account is charged when the new period starts.
On Android, a new account may get Briefly+ free for its first 7 days — no payment, nothing to cancel. When the week ends you keep the free version, and Briefly asks whether you'd like to subscribe.
With notifications on, Briefly reminds you at least two days before a store free trial ends, so the first charge is never a surprise.
A subscription bought on one platform also unlocks Briefly+ on the other when you sign in to Briefly with the same Apple or Google account on both.
