Contact SupportYes! Briefly is free to download and use. The core news feed, AI summaries, morning and evening audio briefs, and home screen widget are all available for free. Briefly+ premium unlocks additional features like Ask Briefly (AI Q&A) and offline access.
Every morning and evening, Briefly generates a fresh podcast-style audio brief featuring two AI hosts discussing the day's top stories. You can listen with the app in the background, and controls appear on your lock screen and in Control Center.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Briefly, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Open Briefly, go to your Profile (bottom-right tab), scroll down, and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove all your data from our servers including preferences, saved stories, and reading history.
Briefly aggregates stories from hundreds of trusted news sources including Reuters, AP News, Bloomberg, BBC, and many more. Our AI summarizes the content but always links back to the original source for full articles.
Make sure you've opened the Briefly app at least once so the widget has data to display. Widgets refresh automatically every 30 minutes. If it's still blank, try removing and re-adding the widget.
